The Sierra Electric Cooperative Education Foundation has a scholarship award program available to active members, immediate family of active members, immediate family of employees of Sierra Electric Cooperative, Inc. and persons who reside in the service area of Sierra Electric and utilize the electric power service provided by Sierra Electric Cooperative, Inc. who are attending a college/trade school in New Mexico.
Sierra Electric may also have college scholarships available to students enrolled out-of-state thanks to our partners Tri-State G & T and Basin Electric Power. If you are interested in these scholarships, please contact our office for instructions on applying.
Applications for the Sierra Electric Cooperative Education Foundation scholarship for the 2019/2020 school year are due at the Sierra Electric office by 5 p.m. on April 12, 2019 and the application brochure can be downloaded here. The brochure includes the eligibility requirements, however interested students can contact Sierra Electric for more information.
