Sierra Electric Cooperative, Inc. member’s bill statements and due dates have changed; we have transitioned all billing cycles towards the same billing and due date.
All accounts will be billed on or near the 1st of the month and the Due Date is on or after the 21st, Bank Drafted on the due date.
No action is required of our members for this change, unless you are on the Auto Pay program and you don't expect to have funds available for two payments in October. In that case, you should contact us to cancel or suspend your auto payments before October 2020 to avoid insufficient funds fee.
The bill produced on September 15, 2020 was for the September monthly system charge, August energy charges and September yard light account charges and was due October 5, 2020. The bill produced on October 6, 2020 was for the September energy charges only and is due October 26, 2020.
Unfortunately, our graph on the bill print is reflecting both bills as the September usage, so the graph is not to be relied upon to compare to last year's usage during the same period.
