Budget Payment Plan - What is budget billing? The purpose of the budget billing plan will be to provide the residential customer with a method of levelizing their bill for electric service. The plan will allow the customer to make eleven (11) equal monthly payments with the twelfth month being a settlement month. Budget amounts will vary between customers based on their usage. Donation for Capital Credit/Patronage- A member or Estate Representative can donate the balance of the patronage capital to the SEC Education Foundation. The Education Foundation was formed in 1990 to provide scholarships to area high school students who are members of the cooperative and are planning to attend college in New Mexico.
Interest in Rebates - Sierra Electric partners with Tri-State G & T on an Energy Efficiency Products Rebate Program and encourages co-op members to use electricity efficiently. The rebate program offers cash incentives to members who purchase more efficient products in their home or business. Membership and Electric Service Application - Are you renting or buying a property and need to transfer service? You will need this form to get started! All properties will be subject to a minimum deposit of $200. **Please call our office for additional information required to transfer the electric service or if you are already a member with us.
New Service Application -Just bought a property that's never had power before? Or want to upgrade your current service? This application will be where you get started! Please fill out and return this application and the required documents to SEC via email or to our office. The application, required documents, and a paid application fee is considered a complete application. **Please note that an incomplete application will delay your application from being processed.
Operation Round Up Application - Enrolling in Operation Round up allows SEC to round up your electric bill to an even dollar amount. The "roundup" amount is donated to the Sierra Electric Education Foundation for college scholarship awards. Please fill out and return this form to SEC via email or to our office.
Priority Request Form - Sierra Electric Cooperative keeps on file a list of members who have indentified themselves as having a medical or special conditions which depend on a continuous supply of electric energy. Sierra Electric uses this list in order to communicate outage information to persons who have notified Sierra Electric of their medical or special conditions.
