42nd Annual Elephant Butte Balloon Regatta!

On Saturday and Sunday August 5 & 6th, Sierra Electric Co-op joined the fun at Elephant Butte Lake for the Balloon Regatta. A big thank you to our generous sponsorship offered by our partners Tri-State G & T and Touchstone Energy, we were able to participate in this fun family event. Touchstone Energy Cooperatives is a national network of electric cooperatives across 47 states that provides resources and leverages partnerships to help member cooperatives and their employees better engage and serve their members. By working together, Touchstone Energy cooperatives stand as a source of power and information to their 32 million member-owners every day.

Thank you to everyone whom came to see the balloons and support this community event. A special thanks to our pilot Mark Sullivan and Cheri White who took employees of the cooperative up for rides in the balloon. We were thankful for great weather and took some amazing pictures.
